LaTasha is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Virginia and in the state of Maryland and is a National Certified Counselor. She specializes in: anxiety, depression, anger management and life adjustment struggles with adolescents and adults. Though she takes an eclectic approach to treatment, customizing the needs to each client, her foundation to treatment is cognitive behavioral (CBT) and solution focused. LaTasha believes that everyone can benefit from a supportive non-judgemental place where you can process, vent, cry, accomplish goals, “dump your junk & leave”. Erica Phillips, MA
Erica is a resident in counseling with Best Life Therapeutics.
Her specialties include: working with the African American millennial male or female young adult/college student who might be struggling with understanding who they are as a person of color in a world who only seems to see their color. She enjoys assisting them with understanding how to navigate their environment with intention, purpose and a more mindful approach. She has been privileged to work with foster and adoptive youth and families for over 15 years, providing her with an empathetic lens of understanding to their unique needs and life transitions. Erica’s goal is to help both populations with embracing and empowering them to use their uniqueness and brilliance while facing their past to create their future.
Erica’s approach to counseling is client-centered and strengths-based. She collaborates on treatment planning and tailor sessions best suited to each individual needs. Erica utilizes Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy, Meditation, yoga practices and music therapy during the counseling sessions, to help clients connect with tools of self-empowerment.

Julieta Paulina Graves, LPC, NCC
Julieta “Paulina” is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Virginia and DC and is a National Certified Counselor. Her specialties include: trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, cultural shock, parental support as well as couples & family therapy. She has also supported women (and their partners) through difficult experiences around pregnancy and motherhood. Using an eclectic approach that includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness meditation and strengths based, she is able to provide services to a variety of individuals from different ethnic backgrounds, ages, and life experiences. Paulina provides therapy in English and Spanish.
Paulina believes seeing a therapist isn’t only for people in major life crisis. People in everyday life situations can also benefit from therapy. She feels that we all need help at times to understand our feelings, deal with life’s challenges, and feeling hopeful about the future. Life can feel like a roller coaster sometimes.
